I have been a practicing Certified Massage Therapist, specializing in Sports Massage/Traditional Reflexology since 1993. In learning my craft, I was pulled aside by a very wise and insightful man who also happened to be my instructor. He believed that I had an intuitiveness that was just waiting to be discovered. And that all I had to do was to have faith and believe in myself. He was so sure of this ability, so positive that "it" was there inside of me, just waiting to be opened. And guess what? He somehow knew! He was absolutely correct. Once the I started trusting in this ability when it first began, I was able to truly tap into "it", this gift. Over the years I have been able to apply this intuitiveness into a unique massage practice, by having the ability of "reading" a persons body. This is now a regular part of my massage appointments, with my clients knowing and sometimes trying to challenge me on what I will find once I start working on their bodies! Then it changed about six years ago. No, there were no lightning strikes or anything as dramatic as that. It just sort of became stronger while I was working on one of my favorite patients. And I instantly knew that this "gift" was being taken to the next level. My biggest challenge was just believing that I could use and embrace this new level of intuition that had been handed to me, along with trying to find the best way to share this new gift. I believe that I have achieved this goal and that I never take "it" for granted. And with EVERY SINGLE SESSION, I amALWAYS thankful and still amazed! I love being able to help form a communication bridge...with the people that you are longing to reconnect with ( it's totally not uncommon for me to get your animals, too ) your loved ones that have passed.

I was born and raised in California. I spent my early years in the Santa Cruz area and formed a love for the ocean and the coast. Later, I moved to the Sierra's, where I developed a deep and endless appreciation for more outdoor passions. I try to spend my winters on the snow, snowshoeing with my dog Ace, and great friends. Summers are spent on the numerous truly breathtaking Sierra Lakes in my kayak. I love the outdoors and try to spend as much time as possible hiking and stargazing. I feel very relaxed and comfortable in my mountain setting. I still catch my breath every time I'm able to watch a spectacular sunset, and seeing an enormous full moon always stops me in my tracks! The outdoors have helped to shape, form, and make me proud of the person that I am today.

I also am an avid gardener, planting vegetables, herbs, flowers, flowers, and MORE flowers! You could say most years, I have an OVER abundance of veggies and flowers growing. Favorite flower to grow? Probably any kind of Dahlia. It's so hard to believe that something that starts off as this brown bulb can produce the most magnificent and breathtaking blooms! The garden is both a peaceful and relaxing place for me to escape and let my brain cool down, turn off. Even when I look out and often see the deer or occasional bear feasting on my hard work...it still brings a smile to my face. And of course what ever animal is enjoying the fruits of my labor!

My other great passion is in the kitchen! I love to bake and have dedicated much time in trying to perfect this craft. I believe this desire started as a young girl watching my father bake biscuits for his girls ( my Mom, my Sister, and myself ) on Sunday mornings. I have taken many professional classes to try and fulfill this dream, from the Ramekins Culinary School in Sonoma, to the Greystone / Culinary Institute of America in St. Helena, and traveling as far as the Santa Fe Culinary School in New Mexico. I will hopefully continue and be able to learn and apply the art of pastry and baking always in my life. Even if it's just to flood my neighbors, clients, friends, and family with my baked goodies, I love that it brings a smile to their faces and to mine!

I HAVE TO INTRODUCE YOU TO MY "SON" ACE HE IS A RESCUE ROTTWEILER AND HAS MADE ME REALIZE THE TRUE DEFINITION OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, AND THAT MY HEART HAS NO BOUNDARIES WHEN IT COMES TO LOVING HIM! HE AND I HAVE BEEN THROUGH A LOT TOGETHER: HE HAS BEEN AND IS, EVERY DAY, MY GUARDIAN. HE IS MY LOVE BUG AND IS ALWAYS AT THE TOP OF MY THANK YOU LIST WHEN I SAY MY DAILY PRAYERS!

Along with all the things I've listed as being so important and vital in my life, I've yet to list the most valuable of all! My amazing family and wonderful friends. My Mom, Martha is my life! My sister, Elaine is my inspiration! And my true friends are what keep me being thankful for making it through another day. One of my greatest prides that I possess is for the phenomenal work that my Sister does. She has been working with Hospice Services for years. The joke between us is that she leads them to the "door" and I bring them back to chat! I have the UTMOST respect for what she has done for her patients, and I am always completely humbled by what she, her nurses and staff do through the Hospice Services on a 24 hour daily basis. Such giving should never be taken for granted! Of course, my Dad who has passed. Robert Lee Beardsley
